Safe House

Any time day or night, when individuals or families need to escape a dangerous domestic violence situation, the ACTS Safe House is open.  Located in an undisclosed, confidential location, those seeking safety can rest assured that their abuser will not find them here. With 18 beds available for adults and children, the safe house does its best to provide as comfortable temporary home as possible, whether clients stay for just one night or several weeks.
The safe house has private rooms for families (singles may double up), a newly renovated kitchen, comfortable living and dining room, deck and large private back yard.
While at the Safe House, clients will receive as many or as few services as they choose.  Case management, safety planning, skill-building classes, thrift store vouchers, housing assistance, employment assistance, transportation, and children’s services are available, as well as the full complement of services from our court advocacy program.
