The ACTS Main Campus has two buildings: The Family Services Center houses many of our services, and the Administration Building, which includes Human Resources and the Finance Department.
The Family Services Center: 3901 Acts Lane
Emergency Assistance (also known as Client Support Services)
Helps with utilities, basic needs, and other services including prescription assistance to uninsured individuals. Case Mangers work with the Food Pantry to provide families with food on a monthly basis. Case Managers also provide vouchers to low-income families in need of clothing and furniture from the Thrift Store in emergency situations such as bed bugs, flood, fire, etc.
Provides a variety of nutritious food and accepts donations during hours of operation.
Domestic Violence Services (Turning Points)
Assists victims who have been in domestic violence situations by finding shelter when necessary, providing hospital accompaniment, individual counseling and helping victims through the court process.
BIP (Behavioral Intervention Program) teaches perpetrators of domestic violence how to resolve anger issues productively and develop healthier relationships. English and Spanish classes are available.
Childrens Services (works with children of domestic violence)
Either on their own or while their parents are participating in the adult program, children are provided with creative outlets for their emotions and taught healthy coping skills.
Group and individual therapeutic support sessions are offered, as well as safety planning, education, and advocacy.
Sexual Assault Services (SAVAS)
Assists victims who have been in sexually violent situations by providing hospital accompaniment and helping victims through the court process (for ages 12+). Also offers support groups, 24 hour hotline, Hispanic services, community education, and Rape Aggression Defense Classes.
