Turning Point Services
24 Hour a Day Crisis Line:  703-221-4951
The crisis line is answered 24 hours a day. At this number, individuals can talk with an advocate (confidentially as well as anonymously) who will listen, be supportive, provide information regarding resources and discuss safety issues. This number is also a source of information about all the Turning Points services and is the first step to accessing the safe houses.

Shelters
The domestic violence shelters are for victims of domestic violence and their children. Residents may stay a few days or a few weeks depending on their
need and individual situation. The location of the shelters is confidential . Advocates at the shelter will offer support, education on domestic violence and
referrals. Support groups are also offered for residents of the shelter. There is a shelter on each side of the county. To access shelter call 703 221-4951.

Court Advocacy Office
The Court Advocacy Office offers information and assistance to those applying for a protective order and those navigating the court system. The office discusses safety planning and various community resources with the clients. The Court Advocacy Office is located at 9540 Center Street--a few blocks away from the courthouse in Manassas. Adult's Program
This program offers crisis counseling on an individual basis, as well as education support groups that focus on self esteem, healthy relationships, and accountability. Program Coordinators will assist individuals to safety plan, process the abuse and access appropriate resources. To access the Adult’s Program, call the Turning points office to schedule an appointment or speak to a counselor. 703 221-4460 x 220 or 223.

Behavioral Intervention Program
This program offers classes for men and women who are court ordered or self-referred to attend classes because of domestic violence.   Focus is on accountability, communication, and healthy relationships. There is a fee for intervention classes. For more information on the Behavioral Intervention Program call the Program Coordinator at (703) 221-4460 x 222.

Children's Program
The goal of the Children's Program is to improve a child's self-esteem, teach social skills, assist children in learning about appropriately expressing feelings and how to establish healthy relationships. We offer peer educational support groups for children 5 - 17. Group sessions consist of interactive projects, role playing, weekly discussions, expressive art activities, team building exercises, outdoor games and videos to promote a fun learning environment. Hispanic Services Program
This program is designed to meet the needs of non-English speaking Spanish individuals who are victims of domestic violence. This program focuses on safety planning, building self-esteem, communication, and linking victims to other community resources. The Hispanic Services Program Coordinator also can provide support and accompaniment to individuals seeking protective orders through the criminal justice system. Outreach: Building Community Awareness/Education and Volunteer Program
Turning Points provides presentations and training to community organizations and allied professionals on the dynamics of domestic violence and its impact
on the community. Individuals in the community wishing to volunteer and play an active role in alleviating and eliminating domestic violence in the
