Women in Community Action (WICA) awarded Turning Points $3,000 for their continued efforts to provide service to the women and youth in Prince William County. This award was announced at WICA’s 30th Anniversary Gala on November 4th. |

The Verizon Wireless Foundation has generously donated $1,150 to purchase digital cameras, printer ports, and photo cartridges to supply the two battered women’s shelter and the advocacy office with the ability to document abuse experienced by the victim for legal or other proceedings. |

Turning Points’ received a $20,000 grant to support general operating expenses at our Eastern Battered Women’s Shelter through the generous grant from the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation. These funds will help fill the gap that exists due to flat funding by government services and will enable our program to continue to provide quality services to the victims of domestic violence in the Greater Prince William County Area. |
